What is the right test for me?

An EyeDetect® test has been established for people who have concerns about taking a polygraph examination, they may suffer from anxiety or nervousness at the mere thought of it. This speedy examination helps eliminate the fear often associated with polygraph tests. It removes the process of being physically connected to polygraph testing equipment which makes EyeDetect® tests far less invasive than the traditional polygraph examination. There are no off putting cables or sensory attachment involved with an EyeDetect® test, which is why it is a more advantageous option for the more apprehensive and worried client. The test is more suitable for these types of clients as it isn’t any different to being seated at your office desk, this ensures you are relaxed and at ease. You answer the questions, an examiner doesn’t ask them. You are in control and that is an important factor.

Another attractive appeal of this type of test is that we all have busy lives and it is clear that some clients just don’t have up to 2 hours to spend on sitting a polygraph test. This test is for people who want a quick answer and a short appointment. An EyeDetect® test can take as little as 30 minutes, so can easily slot into your lunch break or busy schedule. Your questions will be pre-approved before the test process takes place and therefore, there is no requirement for you to have a lengthy discussion before the test to decide what these will be.

EyeDetect® vs EyeDetect®+

EyeDetect® is a new and evolved way of lie detection. You will be required to answer a series of questions. This award winning innovative technology will use a precision infra-red optical scanner to measure the changes in eye behaviour during the test. This cutting edge system records 60 measurements per second, the high-speed camera will measure your blink rates, reading behaviour, gaze fixation, pupil dilation, question response time, accuracy of responses and other variables.

EyeDetect®+ utilises testing methods similar to a polygraph machine. The data is recorded by the EyeDetect®+ sophisticated software and as the result is automatically calculated by the equipment, there can be no accusations or concerns over an examiners opinion bearing a factor. All of our examiners are non bias to any situation, regardless of the type of test you choose, however with EyeDetect® and EyeDetect®+ there is no room for misinterpretation by the client. The test administrator cannot alter your test results. The Test data is encrypted and, therefore completely tamper-proof.

The fundamental difference between the two EyeDetect® examinations are that EyeDetect®+ also uses a physiological tracking device, which your fully qualified examiner will use to attach simple sensors to the examinees fingers, much like a pulse monitor you may see at a hospital. They will also attach sensors to your abdomen and wrists. These sensors are utilised to record automated data similar to a traditional polygraph, which include your body movements, electro-dermal activity (EDA), respiration activity, cardiovascular activity such as heart rate and your respiration activity. EyeDetect®+ is for someone who is looking for a more in-depth service and gives the client the benefit of two lie detection methods in one.

How accurate is VerifEye™, EyeDetect® and EyeDetect®+ and how long does it take?

VerifEye™ test results are scored by a logistic regression algorithm with 80% plus accuracy. Test take between 15 – 30 minutes.

EyeDetect® achieves up to 91% accuracy. The maximum amount of time it will take you to complete your test is approximately 45 minutes.

EyeDetect®+ This evolutionary eye detect combined testing polygraph technology achieves an impressive 97-99% outcome confidence. The test takes up to 60 – 90 minutes.

Last but by no means least, how did we get there and what are our qualifications?

In order to reach our goal we have ensured we secured the most up to date credibility testing technology, provided by Converus. The classic polygraph test has been the only technology for almost a century available to detect deception. EyeDetect® has now proven to be an equally effective option and can also be used in conjunction with the polygraph, or as a standalone alternative.
